What Happened
Netlify notified the site operator that it had received a complaint concerning this site. The forwarded complaint was styled as a DMCA/copyright takedown notice and related legal notice, but it also argued that the site appeared designed to mislead consumers, damage commercial reputation, interfere with business, create false association, and redirect users toward competitors.
Netlify warned that the site would be suspended by the end of the day if the site operator did not respond.
The site operator responded that the complaint did not identify specific copyrighted works, exact allegedly copied files, exact copied text passages, exact copied images, or exact infringing URLs/assets on this site.
The site operator followed up that the response was sent within the stated window and maintained that the complaint was overbroad and insufficiently specific as a DMCA claim.
Netlify reviewed the response and stated that it would not take action against the site at that time. Netlify also stated that it had asked the complainant to provide a specific, precise copyright claim if they wished to proceed.
Purpose Of This Record
This record is published because the PDF shows Manaslu sought immediate takedown of this criticism site through a complaint that mixed DMCA/copyright language with reputation, consumer-confusion, business-harm, false-association, trademark, and domain-abuse arguments. Netlify did not take action at that stage.

Why Specificity Matters
A DMCA notice is supposed to identify the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for the service provider to locate it. Netlify's own DMCA guide also asks complainants to identify the URL and, if less than a whole site is accused, the specific file or content at issue.
That is why the missing detail matters here. The complaint forwarded to the site operator made broad references to logos, product imagery, videos, website materials, copy, and product descriptions, while also making reputation and consumer-confusion arguments.
Manaslu accused this criticism site of copyright infringement. At the same time, this site had already documented product-photo match evidence involving Arc'teryx and Montane source photos.
Arc'teryx's own Terms of Use say Arc'teryx website content is owned by Arc'teryx and copyrighted as a collective work, and that reproduction, distribution, display, or transmission of that content is prohibited unless authorized in writing.
Plain English: Manaslu asked Netlify to remove criticism over copyright while ManasluClo still has not publicly answered the Arc'teryx/Montane product-photo match evidence shown on the evidence page.
This page does not need a court-level infringement conclusion to make that point. The relevant distinction is simple: this site uses screenshots as evidence for criticism and consumer reporting; ManasluClo appears to have used matching outdoor-brand product imagery in commercial marketing.
Manaslu tried to take this site offline. Netlify did not take it down.
